G. B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development is one of the premier autonomous Institute of the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. The Institute is looking for dynamic persons to fill up the following posts:
- Scientist -B : 01 post (UR)
- Scientist – C : 02 posts (UR-1, SC-1)
- Scientist – E : 01 post (UR) on deputation / short term contact basis upto September 2018
How to Apply : The envelope containing the application must be super-scribed as “Application for

Interested candidates should submit their application typed on A-4 size paper as per the prescribed proforma along with attested copies of mark sheets, certificates, degree, etc. to the Director, G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development, Kosi – Katarmal, Almora – 263643, Uttarakhand under sealed cover through registered/ speed post so as to reach by 18/12/2014. Applications from Indian Nationals living abroad may reach by due date by e-mail (psdir@gbpihed.nic.in), followed by post upto 15 February 2013.
